The Metals in Construction magazine 2018 Design Challenge is a competition to generate ideas for a facade system that can play a major role in enhancing employee health and well-being at a speculative tech incubator* on the Williamsburg waterfront. Have an idea for achieving this goal? Register for the challenge and earn a chance to win the $15,000 grand prize, publication in Metals in Construction, and a public exhibition of your work. Metals in Construction and a six-member jury of leading practitioners will award a $15,000 cash prize to the design judged to exhibit the greatest innovation, efficiency, and aesthetic integrity in achieving these objectives. The grand prize winner and finalists will be announced and discussed at a half-day ideas conference at the TimesCenter in New York City on Friday, March 13, 2018. The deadline for entries is February 1, 2018.
