Hauke Jungjohann


Hauke Jungjohann joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2014 to lead the Fa├žade Engineering practice for the East U.S. region. He brings more than 12 years of international experience practicing architecture and engineering. His expertise includes parametric modeling, form optimization in the building design phase and digital information transfer throughout the design and construction process. He is also experienced in the application of new materials and applying familiar materials in innovative ways. He specializes in projects that are structurally challenging and aesthetically driven.

Hauke has collaborated with leading architects Frank Gehry, Grimshaw, Herzog & de Meuron, and Steven Holl, among others. He frequently presents at industry conferences and has taught at Columbia University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Yale University.
