Aulikki Sonntag practices façade design and engineering in Basel and New York. She was previously Director of Engineering & Design (VP), Business Development/International Projects for Roschmann Group and Façade Consultant – Senior Associate for R.A. Heintges & Associates. Her work focuses on the development and implementation of energy efficient envelopes, adaptive and integrated façades, and structural glass solutions based on a three-pillar concept interfacing architecture, environmental design, and structural engineering. Aulikki holds degrees from the University of Stuttgart and Ecole d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville.
